Micro Gainz 1.25LB Add-On Weight Plate for Rep x Pepin Adjustable Dumbbells 4 Plate Set

I wanted to purchase these since the dumbbell change plates I bought work, but they squish my hand since they take up handle space but I saw some of the reviews about the 1.25 pound plates not sitting flush when seated, so I waited until they updated the plates to purchase. They sit perfectly now, no wobble and the balance is great. I also went ahead and bought the 2.5 lb plates as well as the magnetic 1.25 lb plates to add 2.5 lb jumps to my dumbbells. Its a bit overkill but worth it in my opinion. I wish rep would have made these in the first place. Side note, they fit in the rep cart slots they give you so you don't need to leave these laying around if you have the rep dumbbell cart.

Honestly am not in love with these, I honestly may be one of the few that prefer the pop pin style of the original add ons, sometimes these don’t click right in place and sometimes they need more force than normal to pull off/put on. the build quality at least so far still seems very good which is why I’m still giving a 4 star. With the 1.25s it may be a good idea to add spacers in the corners on plate to make it so they don’t wobble as much and sit flush like the original 2.5s this would also likely reduce noise and likely let it align better with the grove on the handle that it looks like the pins are locking around. Watch their tutorials on YouTube and Instagram for how to put on and remove. If you jiggle them and in and out, it's easy. And unlike the 2.5lb plates, these actually fit in the dumbbell stand alongside the 5lb plates.

The 1.25 adder plates are well made and work great BUT they not necessary. Get the Noubell 1.25 magnetic adder plates and the 5 lb reppin adder plate and you will be able to do 2.5, 5.0, and 7.5 lb increments and save $100.

The way they hold on to the pepins is through a clamp.. and the clamp is so tight that its a struggle getting these on and off!!

These work as advertised. They sit snuggly on the dumbbells once snapped in place.

Definitely compliments the Pepin dumbells. A must have!

These work perfectly! It's nice to have the 1.25 pound option. Customer service is top notch as well. Can't recommend these enough!

Perfect addition.

These are great. They work exactly how they should and offer smaller increments in weights. I'm thinking about getting the 2.5s, just because they are more comfortable than the stock plates, since they don't have the lock. It's just hard to justify spending the money when I have something that works already. I also got the Snode magnetic 1.25s to add to the stock 2.5s, so now my dumbbells can go up by 2.5s all the way up between the 10 pound increments. It's great!

Banger Micro plates for the Rep x Pepin adjustable dumbbells. It’s pretty crazy that these are even better than the Rep factory ones but also give you 1.25 and 2.5 pound jumps in between which is really nice to be able to micro load your dumbbells

I love these! They are great!

I like them, but it takes a large amount of force to insert and to remove. I actually got cut removing them one time. The pop pin on the Rep Pepin 2.5lbs is much easier than the micro gainz system.

In addition to the fact that Rep never released the 1.25 adders, functionally these plates are exactly what Rep should have developed in the first place, rather than their intrusive pop pin solution. Quick and easy to use. These can also be used with Repins + Spot Grips.

Easy to put and take off and perfect for the reppins!

These add-on plates are far superior to the ones you get from REP, mostly because of the spring locking mechanism that allows them to go in flush and not have a ring or pop pin protruding into the handle. Excellent product!
